Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Databricks, Beamer, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Databricks and Beamer integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Databricks and Beamer (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Databricks and Beamer

Databricks + Beamer + Slack: After a Databricks job run is triggered, insights are shared as a new post in Beamer. The Beamer post creation triggers a notification to a specified Slack channel, keeping the team informed about the latest Databricks insights.

Beamer + Databricks + Google Sheets: When a new reaction is created on a Beamer post (e.g., a feature request click), Databricks queries its SQL Warehouse to analyze the click data. The aggregated results are then stored in a Google Sheet for further analysis and reporting.
