Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Databricks, Canny, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Databricks and Canny integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Databricks and Canny (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Databricks and Canny

Databricks + Canny + Slack: When a Databricks job run is triggered, it can query a SQL warehouse to identify a trend. If a trend is identified, a feature request is automatically created in Canny. The product team is then notified in Slack with details about the new feature request.

Canny + Databricks + Jira: When a feature request in Canny receives a significant number of upvotes, the feature request data is sent to Databricks to query a SQL warehouse for analysis. Based on the analysis, a Jira ticket is created to track the development of the feature.
