Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Basecamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Basecamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Basecamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Basecamp

Front + Basecamp + Slack: When a new event occurs in Front (e.g., a new message), a to-do item is created in Basecamp. Then, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the relevant team about the new customer inquiry.

Basecamp + Google Sheets + Front: When a new card is added in Basecamp, a row is added to a Google Sheet to track its progress. Once the card is completed (assuming completion corresponds to a status change or similar), the corresponding row in the Google Sheet is updated, and a summary is emailed via Front.
