Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Ads and Sendgrid (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Ads and Sendgrid
Google Ads + Sendgrid + Slack: When a Google Ads campaign's performance metrics (e.g., cost per conversion) fall below a defined threshold, an email is sent via Sendgrid to the marketing team lead. A Slack message is also sent to a dedicated channel to alert the broader marketing team about the underperforming campaign.
Google Sheets + Google Ads + Sendgrid: Track Sendgrid email campaign performance data in a Google Sheet. If the sheet identifies underperforming campaigns (e.g., low open rates), automatically pause the corresponding Google Ads campaigns, preventing further ad spend waste.
