Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Chat and Jira integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Chat and Jira (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Chat and Jira
Google Chat + Jira + Google Sheets: When a new message is posted in Google Chat, the flow checks if it mentions a Jira ticket. If a ticket is mentioned, its details are fetched from Jira, and a summary is added to a Google Sheet for reporting purposes.
Jira + Google Chat + Slack: When a Jira issue is transitioned (e.g., resolved), a notification is sent to a specified Google Chat space and a dedicated Slack channel to inform the team of the issue's status.
