After configuring Google Cloud Storage, Streamtime, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Storage and Streamtime integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Storage and Streamtime (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Google Cloud Storage + Streamtime + Slack: When a new file is uploaded to a specified bucket in Google Cloud Storage, the workflow checks Streamtime for projects related to the file name or metadata. If a matching project is found, a notification is sent to the project manager in Slack.
Streamtime + Google Cloud Storage + Google Sheets: When a job is completed in Streamtime, the workflow retrieves the total storage usage from a specified Google Cloud Storage bucket associated with the project. It then updates a Google Sheet with the project costs from Streamtime and the related storage usage from Google Cloud Storage.
