Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gumroad and Twitch (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Gumroad and Twitch
Gumroad + Discord bot + Twitch: When a new sale occurs on Gumroad, a notification is sent to a Discord channel. A Twitch action isn't available to give roles so the use case cannot be fully achieved. We can only add the user's data to discord.
Twitch + Gumroad + Mailchimp: When a user subscribes on Twitch, their information is added to a Mailchimp list to send them exclusive content and product offers from Gumroad.
