Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Jira and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and LiveChat
LiveChat + Jira + Slack: When a new chat is started in LiveChat, a high-priority issue is created in Jira. The development team is then notified on Slack about the new Jira issue.
LiveChat + Jira + Google Sheets: When a LiveChat thread is tagged as a bug and a corresponding Jira issue is created or updated, the customer details and issue information are logged in a Google Sheet for reporting purposes.
