Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jira, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jira and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jira and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jira and TimeCamp
Jira + TimeCamp + Slack: When a Jira issue is updated (specifically, transitioned to a 'completed' status), TimeCamp creates a time entry associated with that issue. A summary of the completed task and the time spent is then sent to a designated Slack channel.
TimeCamp + Jira + Google Calendar: When a new time entry is logged in TimeCamp, the flow retrieves the associated Jira task details and creates a corresponding event in Google Calendar, reflecting the work done and time spent on that specific Jira task.
