Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Odoo, Postmark, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Odoo and Postmark integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Odoo and Postmark (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Odoo and Postmark
Odoo + Postmark + Slack: When a new CRM lead is created in Odoo, an order confirmation email is sent via Postmark using a predefined template. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the sales team about the new order.
Postmark + Odoo + Google Sheets: When a new email bounce is detected by Postmark, the details are logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Subsequently, a task is created in Odoo to update the customer's record with the bounce information.
