Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Okta and Zendesk integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and Zendesk (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Okta and Zendesk
Okta + Zendesk + Slack: When a new user is created in Okta, a corresponding user is created in Zendesk, and a message is sent to a dedicated Slack channel announcing the new user.
Zendesk + Okta + Google Sheets: When a new ticket is created in Zendesk, the submitter's email is used to find the corresponding user in Okta. The submitter's Okta role is then recorded in a Google Sheet, along with the ticket details, for security compliance reporting.
