Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Recut, Jira, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Recut and Jira integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recut and Jira (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Recut and Jira
Recut + Jira + Slack: When a Recut video edit link is created, a Jira ticket is automatically created. Slack then notifies the project manager about the new ticket, including a link to it.
Jira + Recut + Google Drive: When a Jira issue is updated, and a Recut link is found in the issue description, the linked video is uploaded to Google Drive. A link to the Google Drive file is then added as a comment to the Jira issue.
