Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Shippo, Jira, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Shippo and Jira integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shippo and Jira (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Shippo and Jira

Shippo + Jira + Slack: When a new shipping label is created in Shippo, this automation checks if the shipment is delayed. If delayed, it creates a Jira ticket for investigation and notifies the customer support team in Slack via a channel message.

Jira + Shippo + Google Sheets: When an issue is updated in Jira, specifically when the issue is transitioned to a 'Resolved' state, the automation retrieves the relevant shipment details from Shippo using the issue's description. It then logs the resolution time and shipment details into a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
