Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Basecamp, Databricks, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Basecamp and Databricks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Basecamp and Databricks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Basecamp and Databricks

Databricks + Basecamp + Slack: When a Databricks job run completes and a SQL query identifies project completion status, a summary is posted in Basecamp as a new message and also sent to a Slack channel for team review.

Databricks + Jira + Basecamp: When Databricks identifies code issues through a SQL query, automatically create bug tickets in Jira and notify the Basecamp project team via a new message.
