Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Circle and GitLab integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Circle and GitLab (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Circle + GitLab + Slack: When a new repository is created in GitLab, check if the user who created it is a member of a specific Circle community. If the user is a member, send a notification to a designated Slack channel to inform the team about the new repository.
GitLab + Circle + Jira: When a GitLab merge request is approved, a Jira issue is created to track the deployment progress. The issue is updated when a new job event occurs within Circle associated with the merge request, providing real-time status updates.
