Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Twitch, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Twitch integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Twitch (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Twitch

Glide + Twitch + Discord bot: When a new streamer is added to a Glide app, their Twitch channel information is retrieved. If the streamer is currently live, a message is sent to a designated Discord channel notifying users of the live stream.

Twitch + Glide + Google Sheets: When a new stream is detected on Twitch for a specified channel, stream data (viewer count, etc.) is recorded in Google Sheets. This data is then used to update a public Glide app, showcasing top streamers and viewer counts.
