Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, Google Drive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and Google Drive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and Google Drive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and Google Drive

Glide + Google Drive + Airtable: Back up Glide app data by creating a new file in Google Drive whenever a new record is added in Glide, then log the backup event in Airtable.

Google Drive + Glide + Slack: When a new file is added to a specific Google Drive folder, check for linked Glide app data and notify a Slack channel about the new file.
