Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Glide, YouTube, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Glide and YouTube integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Glide and YouTube (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Glide and YouTube

YouTube + Google Sheets + Glide: When a new video is uploaded to a YouTube channel, its details (title, views, likes) are added to a Google Sheet. This data can then be displayed and managed within a Glide app.

YouTube + Glide + Discord: When a new YouTube video is uploaded, the video's information is added as a row in a Glide app. A message is then sent to a Discord channel, sharing the new video within the Glide App.
