Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Grist, TickTick, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Grist and TickTick integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Grist and TickTick (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Grist and TickTick

Grist + TickTick + Slack: When a new record is created or updated in Grist, a task is created in TickTick. Once the task is created, a message is sent to a specified Slack channel to notify users about the new task.

TickTick + Grist + Google Calendar: When a task is completed in TickTick, a row is updated in a Grist sheet to reflect the completion. Additionally, a Google Calendar event is created to block out time for review related to the completed task.
