Create a New Scenario to Connect Microsoft Power BI and WildApricot
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Microsoft Power BI, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Microsoft Power BI or WildApricot will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Microsoft Power BI or WildApricot, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Configure the Microsoft Power BI
Click on the Microsoft Power BI node to configure it. You can modify the Microsoft Power BI URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the WildApricot Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Microsoft Power BI node, select WildApricot from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within WildApricot.

Authenticate WildApricot
Now, click the WildApricot node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your WildApricot settings. Authentication allows you to use WildApricot through Latenode.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Microsoft Power BI, WildApricot, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Microsoft Power BI and WildApricot integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Microsoft Power BI and WildApricot (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
WildApricot + Google Sheets + Microsoft Power BI: When a new event registration is created in WildApricot, add the registrant's data to a Google Sheet. Periodically, Power BI can then get data from Google Sheets to visualize membership engagement trends.
Microsoft Power BI + WildApricot + Slack: When Microsoft Power BI detects a significant change in a dataset (potentially reflecting a drop in WildApricot membership sign-ups), send a notification to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
