Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Pinecone, Volunteero, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Pinecone and Volunteero integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Volunteero (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Pinecone and Volunteero

Volunteero + Pinecone + Google Sheets: When a new volunteer form is submitted in Volunteero, their information is added to Pinecone for skill tracking. This data, including skills and contact information, is then logged into a Google Sheet for record-keeping and reporting.

Volunteero + Pinecone + Slack: When a volunteer's profile is updated in Volunteero (e.g., after completing a task), their Pinecone vector profile is updated to reflect new skills. A Slack notification is sent to administrators to inform them of the volunteer's milestone completion.
