Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Bouncer, PagerDuty, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bouncer and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bouncer and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Bouncer and PagerDuty
Bouncer + PagerDuty + Slack: When Bouncer detects an email deliverability issue that requires immediate attention, a PagerDuty incident is triggered to alert on-call staff. The team is then notified in a dedicated Slack channel about the incident.
PagerDuty + Bouncer + Microsoft Teams: When a new or updated incident occurs in PagerDuty, the automation automatically checks Bouncer for related email deliverability problems. It then posts an update, including any identified deliverability issues, to a specified Microsoft Teams channel to keep the team informed.
