Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring ClickSend, Databricks, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ClickSend and Databricks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ClickSend and Databricks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect ClickSend and Databricks

ClickSend + Databricks + Google Sheets: This flow tracks SMS campaign performance. When a new SMS is received (ClickSend), Databricks queries SQL Warehouse to analyze the message data and extract campaign metrics. Finally, the analyzed data is added to a Google Sheet to visualize the campaign's performance.

Databricks + ClickSend + Slack: This flow alerts support teams via SMS if critical system issues are detected. When a Databricks job run is triggered, it performs checks. If any critical issues are detected by the Databricks job, ClickSend sends an SMS alert, and Slack sends a channel message to the support team.
