Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Confluence, Netlify, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Confluence and Netlify integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Confluence and Netlify (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Confluence and Netlify

Confluence + Netlify + Slack: When a Confluence page is updated, the automation triggers a new deploy on Netlify for the associated site. Finally, a message is sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the deployment.

Netlify + Confluence + Jira: When a Netlify deploy fails, a new page documenting the failure is created in Confluence, and a Jira ticket is automatically created for the development team to investigate the issue.
