Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Docusign, pdfFiller, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Docusign and pdfFiller integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Docusign and pdfFiller (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Docusign and pdfFiller

Docusign + Google Drive + pdfFiller: When a Docusign envelope is completed (status updated), the signed document is downloaded and saved to a specified folder in Google Drive. Then, data from the signed document can be used to automatically populate fields in a pdfFiller template and create a new filled document.

pdfFiller + Airtable + Docusign: When a new filled form is submitted in pdfFiller, the data is stored as a new record in Airtable. This new record then triggers a Docusign signature request, sending the filled document for signature.
