Automate Shopify QR code generation and storage for new products

This automation workflow generates unique QR codes for every new product added to a Shopify store, and saves the QR code images or links to the product details. The workflow is triggered manually when a new product is listed, and it retrieves the new product information, generates the QR codes, and stores them in a designated location.

The QR codes can then be used for in-store displays, product packaging, or marketing materials, providing customers with a convenient way to access product information or make purchases. This workflow integrates with Shopify and a QR code generation service, and may also connect to a file storage system to save the QR code images.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

Setup guide

1

Connect Shopify integration

1. Add a Shopify credential in the Latenode Credentials panel by providing your Shopify API key and password. 2. Add a Shopify trigger node to your workflow and configure it to listen for new product creation events.

2

Set up QR code generation

1. Add a QR Code generator node to your workflow. 2. Configure the QR Code generator node with the necessary settings, such as the QR code size, color, and any branding elements you want to include. 3. Specify the information you want to encode in the QR code, such as the product URL or other relevant details.

3

Connect to file storage

1. Add a file storage node (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, AWS S3) to your workflow. 2. Configure the file storage node with the necessary credentials and settings to save the generated QR code images. 3. Map the QR code image data from the QR Code generator node to the file storage node to save the images.

4

Optionally, update Shopify product details

1. Add a Shopify product update node to your workflow. 2. Map the QR code image URL or file path from the file storage node to the Shopify product update node. 3. Configure the Shopify product update node to automatically add the QR code image to the product page.

5

Test and publish the workflow

1. Test your workflow by manually triggering it and verifying that the QR codes are generated and saved correctly. 2. Once you're satisfied with the workflow, publish it in your Latenode workspace so that it can be used to generate QR codes for new Shopify products.

Sync Cognito Forms leads to ActiveCampaign with smart tagging

This automation integration allows users to automatically create or update contacts in ActiveCampaign based on new form submissions in Cognito Forms. When a new entry is submitted in Cognito Forms, the integration will search for an existing contact with a matching email address in ActiveCampaign. If a match is found, the contact will be updated with a specific tag for management purposes. If no match is found, a new contact will be created in ActiveCampaign with the same tag applied. This streamlines the process of managing leads and customer data across these two platforms, saving time and reducing the risk of manual errors.

Automatically translate new Discord messages using Google Cloud Translate

This automation integrates Discord and Google Translate to monitor specific Discord channels for new messages. When a new message is detected, the automation will automatically translate the text into a target language using Google Translate and then post the translated message back to Discord or another destination. This allows users to stay connected with their communities across language barriers, facilitating global collaboration and discussion within the Discord platform.
