Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Apollo, Shippo, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Apollo and Shippo integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Apollo and Shippo (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Apollo and Shippo
Apollo + Shippo + Slack: When a contact in Apollo is updated, specifically when their status changes to 'customer', an order is automatically created in Shippo to send a welcome kit. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel to inform the sales team.
Shippo + Apollo + Google Sheets: When a new shipping label is generated in Shippo, the shipping cost and related data are saved to a Google Sheet. The sheet also links the data to the corresponding contact in Apollo by searching for the contact using available information like name or email from Shippo.
