Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Businessmap, Tools, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Businessmap and Tools integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Businessmap and Tools (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Businessmap and Tools
Tools + Businessmap + Slack: When a new tool is added in Tools, trigger an event to find a specific Businessmap card. Then, a message is sent to a Slack channel notifying the team about the new tool linked to the Businessmap project.
Tools + Businessmap + Google Sheets: When data related to tool usage is available in Tools, the automation finds the relevant project card in Businessmap. The tool usage data, along with the associated Businessmap project information, is then logged in a Google Sheet.
