Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Docparser, FreeAgent, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Docparser and FreeAgent integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Docparser and FreeAgent (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Docparser and FreeAgent
Docparser + FreeAgent + Google Sheets: When a document is parsed by Docparser, the extracted invoice data is used to create a contact and/or task in FreeAgent. Key details of the parsed document, like document name and parsed data, are then logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
FreeAgent + Docparser + Slack: When a new invoice is received in FreeAgent, Docparser fetches the invoice document (presumably from a URL within FreeAgent) and extracts the company name. Slack then sends a notification to the accounts team with the extracted company name.
