Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Gender API, Supabase, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Gender API and Supabase integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Gender API and Supabase (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Gender API and Supabase
Gender API + Supabase + Google Sheets: When a new row is added to Supabase, the Gender API predicts the gender based on the name in that row. The predicted gender is then added as a new row to a Google Sheet.
Supabase + Gender API + Slack: When a new user signs up in Supabase, the Gender API is used to determine the gender based on their name. If the name is ambiguous (gender cannot be determined with high confidence), a message is sent to a Slack channel.
