Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring PagerDuty, Tools, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and Tools integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and Tools (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and Tools

PagerDuty + Tools + Slack: When a PagerDuty incident is resolved, the resolution event is logged in Tools, and a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel to inform relevant teams about the resolution.

Tools + PagerDuty + Jira: When a security event is logged in Tools, a PagerDuty incident is triggered for critical issues, and a Jira ticket is automatically created and linked to the incident for tracking and resolution.
