Zhipu AI launched GLM-Legal, a specialized legal AI model built on GLM-5.3-Flash, and opened applications for gated API access.
The model targets agent-driven legal work such as contract review, evidence analysis, and cross-border compliance planning. Z.ai says it will soon add GLM-Legal to the AutoClaw desktop agent platform.
Z.ai reports a 19.2% all-pass rate on Harvey LAB, a 12.5-percentage-point gain over the base model, and says GLM-Legal matched frontier closed-source models on LegalBench and PLawBench. Those benchmark claims are vendor-reported, and real-world performance has not been broadly validated.
