Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Basecamp, Volunteero, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Basecamp and Volunteero integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Basecamp and Volunteero (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Basecamp and Volunteero

Volunteero + Basecamp + Slack: When a new volunteer is created in Volunteero, a new card is added to a specified Basecamp project. Then, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel notifying the team about the new volunteer.

Basecamp + Volunteero + Google Calendar: When a new event is added to a Basecamp project, a new mission is created in Volunteero. After this, a corresponding event is created in Google Calendar to schedule the volunteer shift, using the Basecamp event details.
