The automation starts by connecting to your Jotform account. This allows the system to monitor for new form submissions and retrieve any files that are uploaded through the Jotform form.

Fetch Jotform Attachments

When a new Jotform submission is received, the system automatically fetches any files that were uploaded as part of the form. This is done by scraping the Jotform submission data to identify and retrieve the attached files.

Upload to Basecamp

For each file retrieved from the Jotform submission, the automation uploads the file directly to the specified Basecamp 3 project. This allows the files to be easily accessed and organized alongside the project details in Basecamp.

Configure Jotform Credential

1. In the Latenode Credentials panel, add a new credential for Jotform. 2. Select the 'Jotform API' credential type. 3. Enter your Jotform API key and save the credential.

Configure Basecamp 3 Credential

1. In the Latenode Credentials panel, add a new credential for Basecamp 3. 2. Select the 'Basecamp 3 API' credential type. 3. Enter your Basecamp 3 API token and save the credential.

Add Jotform Trigger Node

1. In the Latenode visual builder, add a new 'Jotform' node. 2. Select the 'New Submission' trigger. 3. Choose the Jotform credential you configured earlier.

Configure Basecamp 3 File Upload Node

1. In the Latenode visual builder, add a new 'Basecamp 3' node. 2. Select the 'Upload File' action. 3. Choose the Basecamp 3 credential you configured earlier. 4. Select the Basecamp 3 project where you want to upload the files. 5. Map the file data from the Jotform node to the Basecamp 3 node.

Save and Activate the Workflow

1. Review your workflow in the Latenode visual builder. 2. Click 'Save' to store your changes. 3. Activate the workflow to start processing new Jotform submissions and uploading files to Basecamp 3.
