Create a New Scenario to Connect Caption AI and Microsoft OneNote
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Caption AI, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Caption AI or Microsoft OneNote will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Caption AI or Microsoft OneNote, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Caption AI node from the app selection panel on the right.

Click on the Caption AI node to configure it. You can modify the Caption AI URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Microsoft OneNote Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Caption AI node, select Microsoft OneNote from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Microsoft OneNote.

Authenticate Microsoft OneNote
Now, click the Microsoft OneNote node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Microsoft OneNote settings. Authentication allows you to use Microsoft OneNote through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Caption AI, Microsoft OneNote, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Caption AI and Microsoft OneNote integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Caption AI and Microsoft OneNote (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Caption AI + Microsoft OneNote + Google Docs: When a new note is created in a specific OneNote section, Caption AI transcribes the audio. Then, a new Google Doc is created containing the transcribed text for easy sharing.
Microsoft OneNote + Caption AI + Microsoft Teams: When a new note is created in OneNote, Caption AI processes it. A summary of the note is then sent as a message to a specified Microsoft Teams channel for team awareness.
