Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Feedly, Slack, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Feedly and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Feedly and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Feedly and Slack

Feedly + Slack + Google Sheets: When a new article appears in a specified Feedly feed, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel, and the article's details are logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet for tracking and archiving.

Feedly + Slack + Twitter: Whenever a new article is added to a specified Feedly feed, a message containing the article's title and link is sent to a designated Slack channel. This message is then automatically posted as a tweet on Twitter (using a hypothetical Twitter integration not included in the available actions, but demonstrating the intent). Since a Twitter action is not available, a Slack Direct Message is sent instead.
