How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runs in credits: 1 credit = 30 seconds of processing. Minimum charge per run depends on your plan. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Fetches the latest articles from an RSS feed
  • Extracts the text content from the articles
  • Publishes the extracted content as Facebook page posts
  • Schedules the Facebook posts to be published automatically
  • Tracks the performance of the published Facebook posts

How it works

1
Trigger

Monitor RSS Feed

The automation monitors the specified RSS feed for new articles. Whenever new content is published, the system retrieves the latest posts from the feed.

2
Action

Extract Article Text

The automation uses a headless browser to extract the plain text content from the HTML of each article. This converts the formatted web content into a clean text representation, ready for posting on social media.

3
Logic

Transform Text

The system processes the extracted article text, formatting it and preparing it for publication on Facebook. This may include tasks like adding hashtags, trimming content to fit character limits, or generating an engaging post title.

4
Action

Finally, the automation publishes the processed article updates as new posts on the connected Facebook pages. This ensures the latest RSS content is shared consistently with the audience on social media.
