Automatically generate PDFs from new Google Form submissions

This workflow automates the generation of PDF documents from new submissions to a Google Form. It listens for new form submissions, generates a PDF based on a template, and saves the document to a specified folder.

The primary user intent is to streamline the processing and archiving of form data by automatically creating PDF records of each submission. The workflow integrates with Google Forms to capture the submission data and a PDF generation service to create the documents.

3
Action

Generate PDF Document

Using the form data and a pre-defined PDF template, the workflow generates a PDF document that summarizes the submission details.

Custom Processing

The workflow performs any additional transformations or customizations on the generated PDF document before saving it to the designated folder.

Setup guide

1

Add Google Forms credential

Add your Google Forms credential to the Latenode Credentials panel by connecting your Google account via OAuth.

2

Configure Google Forms trigger

In the Latenode builder, add a Google Forms trigger node. Select the Google Forms credential you added and configure it to listen for new form submissions.

3

Map form fields to PDF template

Add a PDF Monkey node to the workflow. Configure the node to use a PDF template, then map the relevant form fields from the Google Forms trigger to the template's placeholders.

4

Set PDF save destination

In the PDF Monkey node settings, specify the folder or cloud storage location where you want the generated PDF documents to be saved.

5

Test and publish workflow

Test the workflow by submitting a test form in Google Forms, then publish the Latenode workflow to start automatically generating PDFs from new form submissions.

Requirements

Obtain a Google Forms account and create a form with the desired submission fields
Integrate the Google Forms account with the workflow using the Google Forms integration

AI-powered Google Form analysis and reporting in Google Sheets

This automation simplifies the process of analyzing Google Form responses by leveraging Anthropic's AI model (Claude) to generate insights and summaries, which are then automatically stored in a designated Google Sheets spreadsheet. When a new form response is received, the automation triggers a conversation with Claude to produce an analysis, and this analysis is captured as a new row in the Google Sheets file. This tool is designed to help users who regularly collect feedback or data through Google Forms by automating the insight generation and reporting process, reducing the time and effort required to derive value from the collected information.
