How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runs in credits: 1 credit = 30 seconds of processing. Minimum charge per run depends on your plan. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Extracts new content from the specified RSS feed on a regular schedule
  • Normalizes the RSS data into a consistent format for publishing
  • Publishes the new content as posts to the designated Facebook Page
  • Filters out duplicate posts to avoid spamming the audience
  • Provides a centralized record of published social media content

How it works

1
Trigger

Connect RSS Feed

The automation starts by connecting to the specified RSS feed URL. This allows the system to monitor the feed for new content that needs to be published to the target Facebook Page.

2
Logic

Process Feed Items

Once the RSS feed is connected, the automation processes each new item in the feed. This includes transforming the feed data into a format suitable for publishing as a Facebook Page post.

3
Action

After processing the feed item, the automation publishes the content as a new post on the target Facebook Page, allowing the brand's social media audience to engage with the fresh content.

4
Action

Store Feed Posting History

Finally, the automation saves details of the published Facebook post, such as the post ID and timestamp, to a database or other storage system. This allows the social media manager to track the posting history and perform analysis if needed.
