Latenode

Image moderation alerts

This template starts when a webhook receives an image URL, scores it with Sightengine in JavaScript, and posts a Slack message when the image should be blocked. Connect Slack and put the Sightengine API key in that JavaScript node. Point your upload pipeline at the webhook URL.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Scores inbound images before they go public
  • Calls Sightengine from JavaScript with the key in that node
  • Alerts Slack when an image should be blocked
  • Starts from a webhook your upload pipeline already uses

How it works

1
Trigger

Receive the image

A webhook starts the scenario when your app posts an image URL or storage pointer.

2
Logic

Score the image

Use a JavaScript node to call the Sightengine API. Put the Sightengine API key in that JavaScript node. It returns a nudity score for the image.

3
Action

Alert Slack

When the score is over the threshold you set, Slack posts a message to the moderator channel.

Setup guide

1

Add the webhook

Add a webhook trigger and copy the URL into the app that sends new image URLs.

2

Store the Sightengine key

Add a JavaScript node that calls the Sightengine API. Put the Sightengine API key in that JavaScript node. Set the nudity score that should block an image.

3

Connect Slack

Add a Slack connection and pick the private channel moderators use. Post a test image URL and confirm Slack only fires when the score is over the threshold.

Requirements

A webhook sender that posts image URLs
A Sightengine account and API key stored in the JavaScript node
A Slack channel Latenode can post to
