Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Businessmap and Google AppSheet integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Businessmap and Google AppSheet (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Businessmap and Google AppSheet
Businessmap + Google AppSheet + Slack: When a new project starts in Businessmap (specifically, when a new board is created), a new tracking sheet is created in AppSheet to monitor its progress. A message is then sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team about the new project and its tracking sheet.
Google AppSheet + Businessmap + Google Sheets: If a project's status is updated in AppSheet, this triggers an update to the corresponding task's status in Businessmap. The changes, including the old and new statuses, are then logged in a Google Sheets spreadsheet for historical tracking and analysis.
