Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Figma, OpenAI GPT Assistants, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Figma and OpenAI GPT Assistants integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Figma and OpenAI GPT Assistants (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Figma and OpenAI GPT Assistants

Figma + OpenAI GPT Assistants + Slack: When a new file is added to Figma, it sends a summary of the design to an OpenAI GPT Assistant, which extracts key highlights. These highlights are then sent to a designated Slack channel.

OpenAI GPT Assistants + Figma + Google Slides: When a new file is added to Figma, trigger the OpenAI GPT Assistant to create a presentation draft using the provided data. The draft will be generated in Google Slides.
