Create a New Scenario to Connect Figma and Simplesat
In the workspace, click the βCreate New Scenarioβ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node β a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Figma, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Figma or Simplesat will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Figma or Simplesat, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.
Add the Figma Node
Select the Figma node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Figma, Simplesat, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Figma and Simplesat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Figma and Simplesat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Simplesat + Slack + Figma: When a new negative answer is received in Simplesat, a notification is sent to a dedicated Slack channel. This allows the design team to then use Figma actions like listing file versions or project files to address the feedback.
Simplesat + Jira + Figma: When a new answer is received in Simplesat, the workflow checks if the answer is negative (using string matching inside the flow). If it is, a new issue is created in Jira for design review, including Figma file links that can be retrieved through Figma's list project files action.
