Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Ghost, PagerDuty, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Ghost and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Ghost and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Ghost and PagerDuty

Ghost + PagerDuty + Slack: When a new post is published on Ghost, trigger a PagerDuty event to alert the team for immediate review. Simultaneously, send a notification to a specified Slack channel to keep the team informed about the new content.

PagerDuty + Ghost + Discord bot: When a new or updated incident occurs in PagerDuty, create a post on a private Ghost blog to document the incident. Subsequently, summarize the Ghost post and send it to a Discord channel via a Discord bot for quick updates.
