After configuring GoCanvas, Microsoft Teams, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the GoCanvas and Microsoft Teams integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GoCanvas and Microsoft Teams (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect GoCanvas and Microsoft Teams

GoCanvas + Microsoft Teams + Google Sheets: When a new submission is received in GoCanvas, a summary message is sent to a Microsoft Teams channel. The detailed submission data is then archived in a Google Sheet for record-keeping and analysis.

Microsoft Teams + GoCanvas + Twilio: When a new message is posted to a specific Microsoft Teams channel, the flow checks to see if the message indicates urgent action is required on a GoCanvas form. If it is, an SMS message is sent via Twilio to alert field teams.
