Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Memberstack, Paypal, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Memberstack and Paypal integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Memberstack and Paypal (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Memberstack and Paypal
Paypal + Memberstack + Slack: When a Paypal subscription payment fails (as indicated by a 'Sale' trigger), find the corresponding member in Memberstack using 'Find Member'. Then, send a message via Slack to both the user (if possible via Memberstack data) and a designated support channel to notify them about the payment failure.
Paypal + Memberstack + Google Sheets: Every time a new sale occurs in Paypal related to a Memberstack subscription (identified perhaps by item name or custom field), a new row is added to a Google Sheet. This allows tracking of subscription payments for reporting and analysis.
