Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Netlify, Square, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Netlify and Square integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Netlify and Square (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Netlify and Square
Netlify + Square + Slack: When a new form submission is received on Netlify, it triggers a search for the customer in Square. If found, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel notifying the team about the new submission and customer details.
Square + Google Sheets + Netlify: When a new order is created in Square, the details are added as a new row in a Google Sheet. The data in the Google Sheet can then be visualized and deployed to Netlify.
