Latenode

Scrape and log your website's on-page SEO metrics to Google Sheets

This template runs on a schedule, reads the URLs you track from Google Sheets, calls an on-page SEO API on RapidAPI from JavaScript, and appends title, meta, headings, and similar metrics as a new row. Connect Google Sheets. Put the RapidAPI key in the JavaScript node that makes the request.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Logs on-page SEO metrics in Google Sheets on a schedule
  • Reads the URL list from the sheet you connect
  • Calls the RapidAPI on-page endpoint from JavaScript
  • Keeps the RapidAPI key in the JavaScript node

How it works

1
Trigger

Run on a schedule

A schedule starts the scenario at the time you choose.

2
Action

Read URLs and fetch on-page data

Google Sheets loads the URL list. JavaScript calls the RapidAPI on-page SEO endpoint for each URL.

3
Action

Log a row in Google Sheets

Each result is appended as a row with the metrics you map, plus the check time.

Setup guide

1

Connect Google Sheets

Add a Google Sheets connection. Use a tab with the URLs to check and a results tab for new rows.

2

Store the RapidAPI key

Add a JavaScript node and put your RapidAPI key there. Call the on-page SEO endpoint from that node.

3

Map columns and schedule

Map URL, title, meta description, H1, word count, and checked-at into Add Single Row. Set the schedule to daily or weekly. Run once by hand to confirm a row lands.

Requirements

A Google Sheet with the URLs you want to check
A RapidAPI account and key stored in the JavaScript node
Access to an on-page SEO API on RapidAPI
