Sync new Bloomerang transactions with automatic Bloomerang tasks

This template receives a new donation or payment on a Latenode webhook and creates a Bloomerang task so your team can thank or follow up.

JavaScript calls the Bloomerang API with donor name, amount, and date. Put the Bloomerang API key in that JavaScript node. Point Bloomerang or your payment system at the webhook URL.

How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runtime in CPU seconds. The first 10,000 CPU seconds are free each month, then usage follows pay-as-you-go CPU-second pricing. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Creates a Bloomerang task for each new transaction
  • Starts when the webhook receives the payment
  • Calls Bloomerang from JavaScript
  • Keeps the Bloomerang API key in that JavaScript node

How it works

1
Trigger

Receive the transaction

The scenario starts when a new transaction is posted to your Latenode webhook URL.

2
Action

Create the Bloomerang task

JavaScript calls the Bloomerang API and creates a task from donor name, amount, and date. Put the Bloomerang API key in that JavaScript node.

Setup guide

1

Add the webhook

Add a webhook trigger and copy its URL into the Bloomerang webhook for new transactions, or into the payment system that should notify you.

2

Call Bloomerang from JavaScript

Use a JavaScript node to create the Bloomerang task. Put the Bloomerang API key in that JavaScript node. Map constituent id or email, amount, and date into the task subject and due date.

3

Test with one donation

Send a sample transaction to the webhook and confirm the task appears on the constituent in Bloomerang.

Requirements

A Bloomerang account with API access
A Bloomerang API key stored in the JavaScript node
A webhook source for new transactions, such as Bloomerang or your payment system

Common questions about this template

Each run uses credits on your Latenode plan. We charge for processing time (1 credit = 30 seconds). Your actual cost depends on your plan and how long the run takes. See pricing plans for plans and how credits work.
