How Latenode estimates time and cost

Latenode bills workflow runs in credits: 1 credit = 30 seconds of processing. Minimum charge per run depends on your plan. Plug-and-Play (PnP) AI nodes are billed separately—each PnP token is $1 USD, charged pay-as-you-go at vendor cost plus a small processing fee, with no API keys required.

What this template does

  • Monitors RSS feeds to detect new content updates
  • Sends SMS notifications to a user-specified mobile number
  • Integrates with RSS feed sources and SMS messaging services
  • Ensures users stay informed about latest news or content changes
  • Generates a record of SMS notifications sent for each RSS update

How it works

1
Trigger

Connect RSS Feed

The automation starts by connecting to the user's chosen RSS feed source. This step retrieves the latest updates from the feed and prepares them for further processing.

2
Logic

Transform RSS Data

The automation then transforms the retrieved RSS feed items into a notification payload. This includes extracting the relevant details like title, description, and publication date from each feed item.

3
Action

Send SMS Notification

Finally, the automation sends an SMS message with the notification payload to the user's specified mobile number. This step delivers the latest updates from the RSS feed directly to the user's phone, ensuring they never miss important news or content updates.

Setup guide

1

Add RSS Feed URL

In the Latenode visual builder, add an RSS Reader node. Configure the node by providing the URL of the RSS feed you want to monitor.

2

Add Twilio Credentials

In the Latenode Credentials panel, add your Twilio account credentials. This includes your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token.

3

Configure SMS Notification

In the Latenode visual builder, add a Twilio SMS node. Configure the node by specifying the phone number you want to send the SMS notification to, as well as the message content you want to include.

4

Map RSS Feed Data

In the Latenode visual builder, map the relevant data from the RSS Reader node (e.g., title, description, link) to the input fields of the Twilio SMS node.

5

Save and Test the Automation

Review your automation setup in the Latenode builder, make any necessary adjustments, and then save and test the workflow to ensure the RSS feed monitoring and SMS notification are working as expected.

Translate Telegram messages to any language via Google Translate

This automation workflow allows users to monitor a Telegram chat or channel, automatically detect new messages, translate the text into a target language using Google Translate, and then send the translated version back to the same Telegram chat or save it to a designated destination. This integration between Telegram and Google Translate streamlines cross-language communication, making it easier for users to stay connected and understand content shared in different languages. The automation simplifies the process of translating messages, saving time and effort for users who need to communicate across language barriers.
